Celebrating the Silver Jubilee of intaj

Twenty-five years ago, intaj was born from the vision of His Majesty King Abdullah II, articulated through the REACH Initiative, to transform Jordan's ICT sector into a driver of national growth. As founding chairman, I witnessed firsthand the passion of pioneers who believed technology could reshape our economy and open global doors for Jordanian talent.

Over the past quarter-century, intaj has evolved from a fledgling association into the backbone of Jordan's digital economy, relentlessly championing entrepreneurship, attracting investment, and nurturing generations of innovators.

Looking ahead, the pace of change is only accelerating. The rise of artificial intelligence and deep digital transformation present intaj with powerful new opportunities to lead. By fostering next-generation innovation and forging strategic global alliances, intaj will ensure our tech ecosystem remains highly competitive both regionally and globally.

Chairman’s Message – 25 Years of intaj

On this distinguished Silver Jubilee, we mark 25 years of intaj's journey a journey that began with vision and a deep belief in Jordan's potential to lead in technology.

Since its establishment in 2000, intaj has grown from an ambitious initiative into a national platform that unites the ICT and digital economy ecosystem under one voice. Over the past quarter century, we have witnessed not only the evolution of technology, but the reinvention of Jordan itself into a competitive, innovative, and resilient digital economy.

What began as a sector in its formative stages has evolved into a dynamic industry that exports talent, builds global solutions, attracts investment, and contributes meaningfully to national growth. Throughout this evolution, intaj has remained a connector between companies and policymakers, between talent and opportunity, between local innovation and global markets.

As we celebrate this milestone, we do so with pride in our legacy and an even firmer commitment to what lies ahead.

The next chapter for intaj is not only about growth; it is about impact: accelerating digital transformation across industries, strengthening regulatory frameworks, empowering startups, and ensuring that Jordanian talent continues to compete and succeed on a global stage.
